Look back at 2012 IV

December, 2102 seemed like the the most eventful month of all. In December the Dedham Guild announced the partnership with Dedham Community House in offering art classes taught by Guild artists. this wonderful institution has served the community for 90 years. Story here about the classes that are available in January

The guild also had it's first open house at Deli After Dark. We had a silent auction, refreshments, music and decorated Deli after Dark with Dedham Guild art. It was a fantastic night and terrific company and food. A big shout out goes to Matt Cawley, Fred Smith and all the artists that participated and helped with party planning

Also in December 2012, artist Marietta Apollonio did her second annual birds-for-acure charity fundraiser. The story here. There are still a few birds in the Guild. Proceeds from the sale of the bird drawings benefit Alzheimer’s Association.

In December we had many artists shows and we also hosted McCrea's Caramels. This is a local caramel company making candy in Hyde Park, MA. They are very delicious. Story here

2012 was an exciting year and we could't do this without our great group of artists. Looking forward to all the events in 2013
